The DSWD’s Legislative Agenda is a document which outlines the legislative priorities of the DSWD for the current Congress. It contains the DSWD’s Priority and Supported Legislation.

The DSWD’s Legislative Information System was conceptualized by the DLLO to facilitate access of the general public to the position papers prepared by the DSWD-DLLO in coordination with the LBRC members and other concerned Offices/Bureaus on legislative measures concerning the basic sectors it serves.

Assessment and Evaluation Workshop of the DSWD’s Priority Legislation in the 18th Congress

Undersecretary Bernardino Sayo, Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP) provided a refresher on “How a Bill Becomes a Law” and a remedial course on the “Rudiments of the Legislative Process” from the drafting of the Bill/Resolution up to its approval on Third Reading and its eventual approval of the President during the “Assessment and Evaluation Workshop of the DSWD’s Priority Legislation in the 18th Congress”, held on 10 May 2022 via Google Meet.

primary audience during the “DLLO and OUSLLA’s Performance Review and
Evaluation Workshop CY 2021”, held on 17-19 and 25 November 2021 via Google
Meet.

SHORT COURSE ON LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY SKILLS ENHANCEMENT

Inc., shared the strategies in dealing with stakeholders based on the quadrants during
the Short Course on Legislative Advocacy Skills Enhancement, held on September 10,

The DSWD’s Legislative Information System was conceptualized by the Department Legislative Liaison Office (DLLO) to facilitate access of the general public to the position papers prepared by the DSWD-DLLO in coordination with the Legislative Bill Review Committee (LBRC) members and other concerned Offices/Bureaus on legislative measures concerning the basic sectors it serves. The system presents basic information on social welfare and development legislative measures and the Department’s official stand and recommendations.
